Have you ever felt happy when someone said “Thank you” for anything you have done for them? Have you ever noticed that you feel very positive when you genuinely express your gratefulness to others?

Well, this is the power of gratitude that we possess in ourselves!!

Gratitude is a state of mind where we feel appreciative of everything in and around us, no matter whether they are small or big. Though this word is very common to us, most of us has overlooked its effects on our day to day life.

Gratitude helps in releasing stressful thoughts from our minds and look them with a new perspective of change. It has the ability to develop a consistent mindset, positive thoughts, and a grateful attitude which enhances our life for the better.

A person with a positive mindset has the ability to train themselves to be grateful for what they have in their life.

The change in their thoughts and perspectives will allow them to accept the pain in stressful thoughts, but never to allow these hurtful thoughts to control their life.

They see an opportunity in every difficult phase of their life which opens multiple possibilities to succeed ahead.

People who practice gratitude daily has reduced levels of anxieties and worries.

A multitude of toxic emotions such as envy, anger, frustration can be effectively eliminated by making this practice part of your daily life.

The researches done by Dr.Robert Emmons, a leading gratitude researcher, confirms that gratitude effectively increases happiness and reduces depression.

HOW TO DEVELOP AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

Right now, while you are reading through this article, you are breathing, aren’t you? You were able to get up today alive, weren’t you?

Well, have you felt grateful for all these?

You may think that these are so normal activities, why should we be thankful about that? Well, you are one of the luckiest people alive today and you must never take it for granted.

From today, pen down some of the things you are grateful for in a journal (at least three daily) and have a read through them during the weekends. While writing, make sure to comfort your mind that you have done your best today for everything that came across.

Do this daily and you will find yourself having a peaceful state of mind, calm behavior, and sleeping soundly at night than before.

Along with these, make sure to appreciate others whenever you feel grateful to them. This will create an environment where the efforts put forth by each person is valued and appreciated.

This will eventually strengthen the bonds of your relationships with family, friends, colleagues, and others.

Practicing gratitude improves our mindset with positive emotions that gradually affects our life inside out.

When you appreciate yourself for everything you have done for today, it’s like acknowledging your efforts genuinely with happiness. This will help to value yourselves and others equally in everything.

It will help to become less judgemental about others and thereby focusing on the good that is shared.

Take a break for yourselves and appreciate whatever you have in your life. The more you believe in the possibility of present opportunities, the less you stress out thinking of your past and future.

This will gradually change your mindset and attract positive thoughts towards you. It will definitely make you value each and everything in your life.

CONCLUSION

Gratitude is the best state of mind that is capable of attracting every abundance of our life.

It improves our mindset, helps us to focus on positivity, be appreciative of what we have, and never take anything for granted. Along with this, reduced anxieties and depression also builds a better state of mental health for everyone.

Always believe that whatever you do comes back to you at the right time.

Be grateful and appreciative for everything such that you will have more positive abundances attracted towards you in all areas of your life.
